The feeling of being reborn

My first few days at Bangalore, here's what it feels like.

Its a new day, a new way
a new beginning altogether,
so many crazy people like me
Ive never seen together

It feels like a newborn
wondering whats going on
looking blank and figuring out
what're they talking on?

Discovering new roads
finding new friends
and learning on how to say
whatever is here in vogue

Its just inception,
the birth of confusion
but things will get better
cz I'm a go getter

Just like a baby
I need to be spoonfed
will take some time
to learn the tricks of the trade

but I'll do it
and this I know
just like a little baby
I am all ready to grow!

Kashtiyon ko dariya me chhod, tafreeh pe chal diye
lehron se wafaa ki ummeed hi kyon kar baithe?

They hum ek basi-basaayi basti ke badshah, 
naye shaher me hukumat ke sapne kyon soch baithe?

Chamak kisi cheez ki umar bhar tikti nahi ye jaante hain, 
fir bematlab si chaka-chaundh ko kyon sirhaane liye baithe hain?

Yaadon ka karwaan roke nahi rukta hai
fir bebaat yaadon se muh fer ke kyon baithe hain?

jaante hain, har aks me unka deedar sa rehta hai
fir aaiyene me khud ka chehra kyon dhoondhte hain?
