An action-packed, bombastic 'Battle-Treat'
The name of the movie makes you remember about the age-old favourite game we all liked to play, Battleship but in actuality, you get to know a great deal of destroyer ships and sea warriors and apart from one specific technical scene, there's no resemblance to that game.
The film begins with a signal sending stint by some scientists and NASA who have found a planet that has almost the same topography and climatic conditions as Earth and so they suspect that there might be water and life existing on that planet. They send a signal through the satellite and think that there will be a revert sooner or later.
Meanwhile, the protagonists' (Taylor Kitsch) story begins with a funny anecdote about a unique way to get a girl (Brooklyn Decker) (by actually stealing a Chicken burger from a departmental store and getting caught for it by the cops). The rebellious protagonist is then forced to join the Navy by his elder brother (Alexander Skarsgard) who is a decorated captain in the US Navy. The catch here is that the girl our hero is dating is the daughter of the admiral of the Navy (Liam Neeson) and the boss of him and his elder brother. Some time passes for this young ambitionless lad in the navy and he is almost on the verge of getting dismissed for disobedience and for not following the naval rules and with that, his prospect of getting his dream girl is also seen diminishing when suddenly, the aliens strike.
The aliens who come in a 5 triangle sort of formation start creating havoc on earth from the sea and destroy every bit of infrastructure and can be stopped at nothing. The US Navy battleships are all one-by-one destroyed and then, after losing his brother in the battle, Taylor demands revenge and gets his crew ready for the battle of their lives and hop-in to an old battleship that is now a museum and with the help of retired naval officers, initiate the attack with intelligent strategies and finally, succeed, saving the world.
What's worth?
The action sequences, the rotating blade-like weaponary of the aliens, the beer-bottle-shaped bomb shells that hit a surface, penetrate inside and then shatter it completely. Have a look at some aliens who look almost like us (but their beards are like French fries)and they wear an I ron Man-like suit with helmets which has predator-like weapons installed on them.
The Performances
Liam Neeson is always the one to look for but in this, post-interval, there are a very few appearances of this smart senior of Schiendler's List fame. Taylor has done a great job, Rihaana (His crew mate) also packs in lara croft style sequences.
The technicalities
The cinematography and background music are fantastic. The action scenes, SFX and some 3D type shots add a tinge of 'Whoa' to the movie. The special effects and the innovative weaponary of the aliens is amazing.
All in all, expereince real sea-action in futuristic style long after the old style rustic sea adventure that the Pirates series gave you and hold on to your seat. The action sequences will drive you crazy and you'll keep asking to yourself 'How in the crazy hell are they gonna defeat the aliens?' Must Watch!
Its the best communication medium to ever enchant the world. Silence is what we were born with, it is what we will die with. It'll go with us till eternity and it echoes uptill infinity. I prefer silence, though my words, written, not uttered..will speak for me and my silent pride.

What triggers the creativity inside you?
What triggers the creativity inside you?
What is creativity? Well, many might think that it's just another wise, professional way to refer to at-work stupidity or craziness or maybe its just another name to suffice your absurd way of dressing. But in the dictionary, creativity is defined as: n. The use of the imagination or original ideas, esp. in the production of an artistic work.
Now the irony of creativity is that mostly, it is copied from an unidentified source that you'll never be able to find even if you employ the US Navy Seals who found out Laden on the task. Its not that there is no one who is truly creative and original in thoughts (yours truly is an example of true creativity...:))but the fact is that everyone has a creative side but you do not know it until somebody yells at you saying 'Friggin crazy man, that's creative' and suddenly there's an illuminated voice that echoes inside you stating 'yeah, he said creative'.
So what triggers creativity in common people?
1. Girls for boys and boys for girls
Imagine you're standing in a long queue for a bus ticket and there's a gorgeous girl/boy in front of you and everybody else in the queue is looking at her/him and the queue isnt moving cz the ticketing counter guy/girl is also looking at her/him and you think that you dont stand a chance cz you're stupid and not good looking than others and so you act stupid by commenting something that would defame the other onlookers, say you say 'Hey ticketing guy, focus man, you're handing people the currency and taking their tissue papers instead of money.' This, my friend, is creativity. You actually created a witty sentence to have the attention of the gorgeous guy/girl and you wont event know it that it was creative.
2. Diarrhea
Yeah, you heard it right. When you're into diarrhea, your creative juices get a free-flow permit. This triggers creativity because in normal life, you maybe Barack, Mussolini, Babbage, Brin & Page or Gates or whosoever is pretending to be busy but in this arena, you're just a sitting duck. You cant think of anything related to work here (Try it, you will feel that this particular pressure is more important at this time than any other financial or workplace pressure) and when you sideline your routine thoughts, creativity awakens. If you ask Mozart or Chaplin or any creative person, most of their ideas breed during these pressure hours.
3. Loneliness
When you are abandoned or are totally alone, thinking what went wrong and about how everyone you are friends with is enjoying the fruits of togetherness and you are sitting at home, doing nothing, your subconscious mind reaches down to the most cobwebbed dark corners of your mind where a shy, fearful and discarded creative genius is hiding from the lights of the world. Loneliness is a time when people really think of doing something creative, be it writing a poem on loneliness; doing a sketch that almost resembles something more accurate than an M F Hussain horse-clad painting or just start humming on a tune that you heard last when you were in kindergarten. That is when your creative genius will try to peep out into the illuminated world of worldly glitters.
4. Power cuts
Imagine that you are super busy, working on a tedious estimate that has to be done by midnight and you are already overtaken the deadline by 2 days and 23 hours and your bosses are calling you to send them the email ASAP, on the other line the client is bombarding your boss to teach you some deadline etiquettes and you are just frustrated and want to finish this thing immediately and then, there is a power cut. Suddenly, your world goes blank and you are feeling two emotions: one of anger that at this crucial hour this happened and second, of joy that finally you found an apt, true excuse of not doing it on time. This is when you start brainstorming about new ways you can mail it ASAP (Cz ur job is at stake) or you brainstorm some new-gen, impossible to question and totally believable excuses to say in the next meeting defending the pink slip they're going to give you. Power cuts disconnect you from the technology and make your thoughts travel into the primitive era, making you think more in-depth, with total concentration and with great thoughtfulness.
5. Travelling
What was Alexander doing when he discovered America? What were the Mughals doing when they found India? What was Chengez Khan doing when he thought of the great wall of China? They all were travelling (Dont know about Mr. Changez coz he didnt respond to my SMSes) but yeah, most of them were travelling. It is true that most of the ideas you get are when you are travelling, be it on a flight, a bus, a train, a cycle, a bike, a goat cart in Afghanistan or just on foot. This happens as while you're travelling, you dont have anything to do other than to relish the scenery and wait for your destination. At that time, natural sceneries or regional bloodshed might click-open the creative canons inside your brain and you start thinking of something creative, something like: Why did Changez khan go for the Wall when even Facebook has one? You try to find out and imagine things that really are very absurd. You might even think later on (when you arrive your destination) that whatever you were thinking was just meaningless (but it did have some meaning and every creative person knows that it is).
So, there are many things that trigger creativity inside you and awaken the creative genius inside you but all you need to do is to keep that creative part of you active for a longer time and when active, you should be aware that you're not being stupid or crazy or meaningless but your creative side is gaining momentum an so, you need to give it more air and more speed to get the best out of it, every time.

Ajeeb se khala hai kyon
Ye mujhme kuch jala hai kyon
sahi-galat, galat-sahi
ye soch me pada hai kyon
In aandhiyon me kashtiyon ka
raasta ruka hai kyon
is kroor aasmaan ka ye
kehar umad pada hai kyon
Chala tha leke kismaton ko
haath wo thama hai kyon
jo dil ki baat sunta tha
use sochna pada hai kyon
Jo maali phool ki dhadkanon ko
sun-samajhta rehta tha
wo aaj uski chahaton ko
maarne chala hai kyon
Ye pyaar ki naram barf
se log jal rahe hai kyon
gar do logo haste hai to
kuch log achambhit hai kyon...

Wag wag wag o boy!
Dedicated to all the Dogs in my life, those who loved me unconditionally (Some even bit me, but its fine, no hard feelings), those who entertained me, those who needed nothing but a treat and my presence to feel special and to make me and the people around me special. It is a mystery as to how they get to know what your mood is and they behave in the same manner, not annoying you anytime but whatever your mood is, they surprisingly turn it into a jolly one. Here's to the Dogs in my life: Bruno, Cookie, Blacky, Browny, Sheela and Spotty.
WAG WAG WAG O BOY!
Wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
I see you running fast to me
licking gladly hands of me
wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
I see you sleeping curled around
tweaking open one eye oh hound
and as you smell my smell oh boy
up you stand, up you stretch, up you run and wag again
wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
When I throw a treat at you
jumping on you'll catch I knew
and when I whistle a tune to you
your ears drop, tongue comes out, and smiling on you wag again
wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
You'll never know how much I love
Im not a dog I cannot show
but none can love me as you can
you cry for me, you play for me, you bite the worries when you wag again
wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
Wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
I see you running fast to me
licking gladly hands of me
wag wag wag o boy
wag your furry tail my boy
WAG WAG WAG O BOY!

Left alone for the Vultures
It's already the Doomsday and I await my fate
tied up in a knot trying to let loose at the late
on my head the rising sun
mocks me, humiliates, striking heat just for fun
I dont fear anything oh I dont care
for now its just me I trust anywhere
the best of my friends have deserted me
the love of my life doesnt understand me
the one who loved and cared has long gone away
and with her has gone my likes, my life and the righteous way
hell I raise my head to the torture
and I look in the eye of the scavenging vulture
he asks me for my final wish and I smile to it
for since ages I havnt had any wish if you can, believe it
with that it flapped its wings and pierced the sharp beak on to my heart
no pain, no shrieks, no regrets,
for the moment you left alone of me, was my life's brave start
hanging scantily now are some bits of flesh and bone
for I died long before you'd happily left me alone.
tied up in a knot trying to let loose at the late

Wo kehte hai
Wo kehte hai dua kabhi kabool nahi hoti
har insaan ki kismat likh di hai usne, badli nahi jaati
Wo kehte hai baghavat ka koi nateeja nahi aata
dushman banake duniya me koi sukhi nahi hota
Wo kehte hai ma-baap sabse badi zimmedari hai
unse kabhi rukh moda nahi jata
Wo kehte hai ki jab insaan khud hi khud ke faisle le
to khuda bhi uske aade nahi aata
Wo kehte hai jab do dil mile to taqaat-e-zamana hara nahi pata
kyunki itne bahadur jazbe se kabhi koi jeet nahi pata
Wo kehte hai ke tum aur main bichadne ke liye mile they
par ab humse zamane ka nasaayat-naama suna nahi jata
Wo kehte hai ke zindagi badnuma daag banke reh jayegi
par ab saaf-suthra humse raha nahi jata
Wo kehte hai ki do insaan ko tum kabhi khush nahi rakh sakte
par inhi do logo k bina jeevan guzara nahi jata
Haan parivaar bhi zaruri hai aur pyaar bhi
par ab khudko ghut-te huye dekha nahi jata
Chuna hai maine pyaar ko parivaar se pehle
kyonki dohri duvidha ab hume bardaasht nahi hota
To ab meri zindagi bas tum tak seemit hai
bin tumhare zindagi ka lafz pukara nahi jata
Karunga tumko pyaar itna ki tumne socha nahi hoga
likh dunga humara naseeb jo usne bhi kabhi likha nahi hoga.
